Prior to departure on any visit, information should be left with a pre-arranged Establishment-Based Contact. This information should include:
- Group names
- Visit location and itinerary
- Expected timings
- Transport arrangements
- Emergency contact details for participants
- Medical information regarding participants
Where appropriate this information should be carried by the Visit Leader and other Assistant Leaders. If the visit is in the local area within normal session hours there is no need for the Visit Leader to carry emergency contact details as these will be readily available at the base should they be required.
