The Routine and Expected Visit Toolkit contains generic risk assessments and generic visit plans that can be downloaded and edited. The Toolkit also includes worked examples, a flowchart for planning and organising a visit, and sample letters that can be used to provide information to parents and to obtain parental consent, where appropriate.

The Day Visit Toolkit contains generic risk assessments and generic visit plans that can be downloaded and edited. The Toolkit also includes worked examples of risk assessments and visit plans, a flowchart for planning and organising a visit and sample letters that can be used to provide information to parents and to obtain parental consent, where appropriate.

The Residential Visits Toolkit contains generic risk assessments and generic visit plans that can be downloaded and edited. The Toolkit also includes worked examples, a flowchart for planning and organising a visit, and sample letters that can be used to provide information to parents and to obtain parental consent, where appropriate.

Toolkit: Adventure Activities

The Adventure Activities Toolkit contains generic risk assessments and generic visit plans that can be downloaded and edited. It also includes worked examples and a flowchart to summarise responsibilities for preparing visit plans and risk assessments when adventure activities are involved. The Adventure Activities toolkit should be used in conjunction with the relevant visit toolkit (e.g. Residential, Day visit etc.)

Matrix: Visit Approval, Medical Information and Parental Consent

The matrix in this Toolkit summarises the requirements for obtaining approval, medical information and parental consent for the different types of visit.

Generic Risk Assessments

This Toolkit contains generic risk assessments for all types of visit. These documents can be downloaded and edited by those involved in planning, organising, leading or assisting with a visit.
